Walking on Sunshine...

at least for today!

(my wire basket with impatiens survived yesterday's cold)
The weatherman says some more showers
are coming tonight but should all clear
out for the weekend.

(I was worried about the poor things)

(thankfully all was okay this morning)

(can you tell I love rusted garden things)

(ignore the hose, see the rusted bench & wire egg basket?)

My husband says I'll put a plant in
anything if I can get it to hold soil.
Is that a bad thing???

  1. Of course it isn't a bad thing! What a lovely yard! Your plants are doing very well. I've got to get mine in for the night because there may be a frost. Thanks for the reminder!

  3. What a lovely garden area! I too like rusted garden furnishings. I have a chair people keep telling me to repaint but I like the rust on it. Guess not everyone see's it that way. The little bench above with the flower pot is so sweet.

  7. Oh Diva, your gardens and flowers are sooo beautiful! I have this big old chiminia (I know that's spelled wrong!) that my meany neighbors complain about whenever we burn some logs in (like twice a year if that much!) I'm thinking of just sticking it in my garden and filling it with petunias! Have a fun weekend in the garden! xo Paulette

  13. We must be related way back in our family trees....

I love the same rustic quality in gardens. LOVE!

Your yard is so pretty! Mine is suffering from lack of a single fit person to do some planting.

I really like the stone, Diva......a lot!!

And no, it's not wrong to put plants in things that hold soil.......it's brilliant!
