A Chill in the Air Today

but the white clematis in my garden
is blooming beautifully.
The purple jackmani clematis
is doing quite well too.
The jacob's ladder has made it's
appearance as well.

A close up of the jacob's ladder.
I always feel bad for my blooms
when the weather takes
a chilly turn and often go out
in the gardens to talk to them
and reassure them that warmers days
are returning soon.
Am I the only one out there that talks
to her plants???

  1. No, you are not alone. There are a lot of us that talk to plants and other things as well. I have been known to answer my own self. Now that is getting bad!

  5. No you're not the only one. I used to talk to my house plants. Maybe I said the wrong thing because they all died!

It's been chilly and very windy here. What's with the weather??

  14. The clematis is lovely! My father grows some of a similar hue, on a trellis just outside of the dining room window. I love seeing it when we go to their house to visit.
