"Beauty"

"... of whatever kind, in it's supreme
development, invariably excites the
sensitive soul to tears."
Edgar Allen Poe

The clematis vines on the side of my home
are bursting with blossoms!
What beauty will you find today to move you to tears?

  1. Oh, how this makes me miss my old house with the giant arbor of Montana Clematis. It had the sweetest vanilla scent, I couldn't breath deep enough!

As for beauty, I am looking forward to the sunrise... I am up a little earlier than usual:)

  2. Beautiful blooms Diva! Our clematis remains a mere whisper...the weather has been quite cool in our corner of the world. But, with each passing day, a bright new face emerges to great us along the garden walk. Enjoy the day!
    Smiles and blessings...

  5. Your Clematis are beautiful! I'm not sure I can grow those here. My Mom has Jackamani (?) something like that. They are an intense purple. So gorgeous! Have a great weekend!

  10. Oh how very beautiful!!! My clematis hasn't even started to sprout yet and I'm afraid it might have been damaged this winter. Usually snow covers it up and protects it all winter long but with the unusual winter we had this year and little snow, it was exposed to the cold. I'm still holding out hope, though, because it doesn't usually start growing until June or July over here...your growing season is much earlier than ours!! xoxo
