Dust Bunnies & Cobwebs

This post will be short and sweet as I am exhausted from cleaning today! You see there have been so many bloggers posting about cleaning, dusting, washing, etc that I felt compelled to do the same. I think in part it was due to the rainy day we had, since I wouldn't be outside today I figured I might as well do something productive inside. Now I can settle in and do something artsy and fun without feeling guilty...anyone know how to preserve this 'state of cleanliness' for the long haul???

  1. I am the last person to ask about preserving cleanliness because I need to clean first before I try to preserve it :) Cleaning (as well as cooking) are pretty low on my priority list....glad you got your cleaning done....now go create something fabulous! Enjoy your weekend.

  2. Diva Thank you so much for your wonderful comment on my lil blog :)! You know I am reading some of your posts here and uhmm I think we are twins :) My stars it feels so good to find someone that gets me on the sufferings of being new to blogging ;) what I didn't post it that I did that blog list 3 times because for some reason, I kept losin my links lol Now if I lose them all this time...I give up. Do you think when you are done at your casa you can fly on down and help me with mine? I think if y'all suddenly don't hear from me it's cause my house has swallowed me up, I just haven't been able to get in that cleanin mode mindset :) not in this heat...did I mention I have been like that since the start of summer :) Email me anytime for help, we might as well try doing this together, no mon ami? 3. What a cute idea. You are right, when you clean house, you definitely need a rest. Mine is in need, but since I have started this blog, I do not seem to get things done I should.

  4. Thanks for the kind words on my blog and yes keep praying for us. We are okay now just have to keep an eye on things.

It rained here today too! Yes these are good days to clean but those dust bunnies will reproduce very soon!

  5. Diva, It's so very easy to preserve! All you need do is hermetically seal everything! They say cleaning is good for the soul. Okay, maybe it's me who says it. Enjoy the weekend and your state of cleanliness!

  6. Oh yes, with me it's just the other way round, I'm always making art INSTEAD of cleaning.
One day my husband watched me work on my "wreck this journal" and asked: "Are you doing Wreck this household too?" (With a real big twinker in his eyes) I'm afraid it's true ;)

  7. I might suggest cleaning the house from top to bottom and then set up a tent in the backyard and stay there until it gets so cold that you are forced to go back inside :)) Seriously though, if you find the answer please let me know. My house is in a perpetual disarray!
