White Wednesday

I must admit to having a bit of a blogging
block lately. I find myself not sure what
I wish to post about or what I could share that
might be of any interest to anyone
other than myself...

(white petunias from my garden)
so today when I was visiting some
other blogs I came across a
'White Wednesday'
party over at Kathleen's
Faded Charm Cottage
I have enjoyed visiting Kathleen's blog
for some time and have always
loved all the 'white' images shared
by her participants but have never been
brave enough to jump in myself.
So today I was ecouraged by Jane at
Mamie Jane's
and her beautiful photos to give it a try.
Hey, I've got nothing else to share so here goes...

(loosestrife that grows at my cabin)

(my white oleander trees)

( a snowy night at the cabin)

(the white sandy beaches from our vacation in Florida)
and

(a tall drink of water in a white cowboy hat)

please keep in mind that the following images
are from Country Living Magazine
and represent things that simply catch my eye.

a white vanity much like the one I had as a young girl

creamy white cotton thread

vintage white milk glass

old white stoneware

the cozy clean look of an all white decor

and one big comfy chair to sit in!
Hope you'll take a few moments
to visit all the other bloggers
over at White Wednesdays!

  1. I'll have a tall glass of that water please! hehe Oh I so love Alan Jackson!!!! Your white flowers are just gorgeous and I also love the pictures of the white decor you found on the net. Goes to show that something doesn't have to have any colour to make it beautiful.

It's pouring rain and 55F right now...I need to go out and buy some groceries and then go to my auction after dinner but look where I am, at the computer! lol Hey at least I'm staying dry! hehe xoxo

  2. I love the clean, spacious feeling from all that white! I am realizing how overflowing and chaotic I am feeling inside (think, wild psychedelic 60s prints) and a dose of white would be nourishing for my spirit.

Lovely to see you back to blogging!

  7. White is relaxing, and lets your eyes rest. :) I love your garden pics, Diva! Gorgeous! I would love to have an all white room, but I think I should match my rooms to my DOGS. lol! Have a wonderful weekend!! xox Pam

  8. I enjoyed this Diva! The flowers were lovely and the photos from CL struck a chord with me. I've always wanted to do an all white room, but a husband and 6 animals don't mix well with white.
