Planning A Long Weekend

at the cabin!
I'll be going to enjoy some R&R at our mountain
retreat , planning on spending some quality time
with my husband and youngest son before
we head out for our Mission Trip next week.
My son Jason and his girlfriend will be joining
us and my sister and brother-in-law too!

We'll spend some time hiking the state forest,

head over the mountain to the Big Valley for
the farmers market.

While we're out that way I always stop at Dairyland Antiques

I love this giant cow out front!

Another stop for vinatge goodies,

and lots to see.

I will also try to get out to Lewisburg

a quaint town with lots of shops

and victorian homes.

and then I'll have to stop at Roller's Mills Antiques

three stories of all sorts of wonderful things!
I may not have time to write a new post before
leaving on our Mission Trip but I'll be sure
to post some photos when I get back.
Hope you are all enjoying your summer!

  1. Diva,
Your mountain retreat sounds wonderful and so relaxing... beauty, relaxation, shopping, and quality time with those you love. ENJOY!
We have been cooking here in Virgnia. It has been in the 90s for a couple of weeks. I am ready for some nice cool breezes!
I hope you, too, are having a good summer.
