Spiritual Sundays

Jesus said, "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in your heart, you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
                                                        Matthew 11:28-30

  4. One of my favorite Scriptures and one of the first ones I memorized. It was good to just read it slowly and let it sink in. Thank you.

  10. Think about this as a stand alone statement: His burden, dying for the sins of man, is light. When you look up 'awe-inspiring', His photo should be part of the definition. ;)

  11. This is such a timely scripture. I was right in the middle of some adversity, and I listened to that still small voice, and went to vermont despite the horrific weather. When I got there and we saw that camel, I thought the Lord always surprises you. His yoke is so light. Thank you for posting this, and for stopping by for a visit. I would have been here for Spiritual Sunday if I hadn't been away.
