Jesus said, "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in your heart, you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Matthew 11:28-30
Perfect scripture for this time in our life's.

Oh Diva. That really touches me today. But I'm sure it's perfect for so many people in todays economy and fast pace world.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you...Tracy :)
Praise God! His burden is light.
ReplyDeleteI am very thankful for the rest that is found in Him!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite Scriptures and one of the first ones I memorized. It was good to just read it slowly and let it sink in. Thank you.

So inspiring.
ReplyDeleteAmen
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words from a loving Saviour. Great post.
ReplyDeleteThink about this as a stand alone statement: His burden, dying for the sins of man, is light. When you look up 'awe-inspiring', His photo should be part of the definition. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a timely scripture. I was right in the middle of some adversity, and I listened to that still small voice, and went to vermont despite the horrific weather. When I got there and we saw that camel, I thought the Lord always surprises you. His yoke is so light. Thank you for posting this, and for stopping by for a visit. I would have been here for Spiritual Sunday if I hadn't been away.
